Here is a V-shaped cattle gate to keep the cattle on the pastures. Did you know that the English call this a "Kissing gate". Sounds romantic, doesn't it! You would assume that the name comes from the fact that you almost have to kiss each other here if you have to pass through such a narrow gate with two. But unfortunately, for the romantic souls among us, it has nothing to do with that. Etymologically, "kissing" also simply means "touching". And those gates are not fixed but touch the edges.
