Beautifully situated and still working watermill on the Molenbeek. The current brick construction under a truncated hipped roof dates from the fourth quarter of the 19th century. The oldest written mention is from 1550. Older sandstone wall building has been preserved where the riveted iron top gear is located.
Technical installation still very complete. From a rectangular brick comb hole, on which heavy oak beams, three pairs of grinding stones are driven to the first floor via a cast iron drive and transmission system. These grindstones are supported by heavy wooden beams. The grinding chairs supposedly came from a former windmill. Two oat crushing machines were also preserved. In 1996 Johan Bracke and Katty Bogaert bought the mill. The mill was restored in phases. The mill has been milling since 2017. There are regular open days. On these days, flour is sold with the mill.
