Bree-Eik has been a gentleman's farm in noble ownership for centuries. The farm is named after the Pajottenland family Bree-Eik, mentioned since the 13th century. The farm was already mentioned in 1406. It is still a massive enclosed farm with whitewashed brick buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries grouped around two paved courtyards with a substantial volume. The fertile Brabant sandy loam soil has been producing rich agricultural harvests for the Bree-Eik farm for centuries. The farm is beautifully situated amidst expansive fields. Both courtyards are accessible separately. One of them has a beautiful old oak tree.
