Vriezenbroek to Zenne and undertake railway line 27b.
The Broekstraat (continuous central road Zemst-Elewijt, buurtweg 1 in Zemst, Buurtweg 6 in Weerde, Buurtweg 9 in Elewijt), here to the right of Zenne, takes a bend along the Senne here to limit the bridge work in 1907. This road used to run straight ahead and was the main road between Zemst (hamlet de Brug) and Elewijt. It therefore remained from the Bridge to Elewijt between the Senne and the Barebeek. Only in Elewijt did it cross the Barebeek.
