Vriezenbroek vers Zenne et contre les voies ferrées 27b.
La Broekstraat (route centrale continue Zemst-Elewijt, chemin de quartier 1 à Zemst, chemin de quartier 6 à Weerde, chemin de quartier 9 à Elewijt), ici à droite de Zenne, fait un virage le long de la Zenne pour limiter les travaux de pont en 1907. Cette route se poursuivait tout droit auparavant et était la principale route entre Zemst (hameau de la Brug) et Elewijt. Elle restait donc depuis la Brug jusqu'à Elewijt entre la Zenne et la Barebeek. Ce n'est qu'à Elewijt qu'elle traversait la Barebeek.
