The Abbey of Maagdendale is a Cistercian nunnery located on the Ham in the city of Oudenaarde.
The nuns of Maagdendale established a monastery in Vloesberg in the 12th century. The unsafe situation prompted the abbess to request Arnulf IV, Baron of Pamele, to allow the monastery to be moved to Oudenaarde. In 1233, the monastic community obtained the lands on the eastern bank of the Scheldt on the Ham to build a new abbey there.
