The Charleroi Cemetery is an urban cemetery in the Belgian city of Charleroi. The cemetery is located one and a half kilometers north of the city center, in the Le Faubourg district. The cemetery was inaugurated in 1895, after which the old cemetery was given a different purpose. For the time being, the old cemetery remained preserved in its authentic state, but was used as a park of rest. No more burials were carried out. In 1925, the old cemetery was cleared. Some graves of notable individuals, which belong to the oldest of the cemetery, were relocated to the new cemetery.
