The transmitter Raeren-Petergensfeld is located in the Raeren district of Petergensfeld, Belgium, near the German border at Roetgen. The tower height is 90 m and the site elevation is 451 m. Currently, the transmitter is exclusively used for radio programs, but DVB-T is also planned. Due to its advantageous location and a transmission power of 20 kW, the radio program Das Hitradio can be received well in the Euregio Maas-Rhine and beyond.
Between February 2008 and March 10, 2014, the Belgian Broadcasting Corporation transmitted its program BRF2 on the frequency 105.9 MHz with a power of 5 kW. On December 17, 2014, the frequency was reactivated at a reduced power of 100 watts.
