The priory of Rouge-Cloître is the best-preserved monastic complex in the Soignes Forest. The House of the Prior is the only remnant of the former cloister, which has been very well restored by the region, where one can see beautiful vaulted ceilings and magnificent trompe-l'œil frescoes. The buildings that were dismantled in the early 19th century are referenced in various ways. Thus, the outlines of the church and the cloister are marked by a white stone paving. The infirmary, brewery, refectory, and part of the guesthouse are recalled by vegetative volumes, enclosed by dry stone walls.
