The Constantin Meunier Museum is a museum dedicated to the Belgian sculptor and painter Constantin Meunier in Ixelles, in the Brussels region.Constantin Meunier was already an internationally renowned sculptor when he decided at the end of the 19th century to have a house with studio space built on the Rue de l'Abbaye in the Brussels suburb of Ixelles, designed according to his own plans. The artist lived here until his death. The Belgian state bought the house in 1936 along with 700 works by Meunier and opened it to the public in 1939. Since 1978 it has been part of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts.
