The Chicagoblok, also known by its address Ernest Claesstraat 10-16, is a residential tower in the Belgian port city of Antwerp. The building is located in the Linkeroever district and is part of Europapark, a building complex consisting of several residential towers.
The Chicagoblok was built in 1970. The tower has a height of 81 meters, spread over 27 floors. More than 6000 people from over 30 countries live in the building. It is the fourth tallest building in the city after the Cathedral of Our Lady, the Boerentor and the Antwerp Tower and is one of the tallest buildings in Belgium. From 2003 to 2004, minor renovations were carried out, especially on the entrance area.
