Description

The history of the Hoogstraat beguinage probably dates back to the fourteenth century. The only beguine you can still find here today can be found on the left at the entrance: a finely stylized sculpture by Jef Martens. Stroll through this beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site and discover the baroque-style brick church (1680-1687) with a rich interior.
