Walckiers Avenue is a Brussels street in the municipality of Auderghem that rises from the rue des Deux Chaussées to the chaussée de Tervueren over a length of 300 meters. Around 1890, almost all the land located between rue des Deux Chaussées, chaussée de Tervueren, the street, and the current drève du Rouge-Cloître had become the property of the wealthy Brussels family Walckiers, who ran one of the most important real estate companies in Brussels. They had this way laid out and then sold the building plots. The street was opened to traffic in 1892.
