Buggenhout Station is a railway station in the municipality of Buggenhout on railway line 53. Since June 28, 2013, the ticket offices of this station have been closed and it has become a stop.
Originally, the Buggenhout station consisted of a high building with a neoclassical wing. In the 1960s, it was replaced by a banal one-story building with a flat roof, which houses the ticket office, waiting room, and sanitary facilities. It was designed by Philip Tibax and dates from 1969 based on plans made in 1967. There are plans to thoroughly renovate the station area, which also includes a new station building.
