The Hertigembos is a forest and nature reserve in the Belgian municipality of Ternat, more specifically in the borough of Sint-Katherina-Lombeek. Together with the larger Liedekerkebos, the forest forms the almost 200 ha forest and nature complex Liedekerke- en Hertigembos. The name Hertigembos means Hertogenbos and was created by contamination with Affligembos. Hertigembos was created from the contraction of 's Hertogen- and Affligembos, after the former owners, Hertog Jan and the abbey of Affligem.
