La Motte Castle is a neoclassical castle in Sint-Ulriks-Kapelle. It was built in 1773 by architect Laurent Benoit Dewez on the site of an existing castle motte. Philippe-Joseph-Antoine de Coullemont de Waterleet bought the castle in 1822 or 1823. During the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the castle had several owners. The estate came into the hands of the Borluut family and then became the property of the Barons de Cullemont de Charterlert Tupigny. In the interwar period, it became a possession of Crützen de Velden and then of Count Humbert Visart de Bocarmé.
