Den Blakken has been a provincial domain in the Belgian municipality of Wetteren since 1990. It is a promotion centre for floriculture, roses and park trees. One of the main economic activities in this part of the province of East Flanders. It is a public initiative and freely accessible.
The 9.7 ha park is located next to the recognized nature reserve De Warandeduinen of which den Blakken is the highest dune. These sand dunes were created during the ice age, about 15,000 years ago.
