On the Pasemaregracht, right at the border with Velzeke and Zwalm, stands the Pedes mill. The mill is equipped with three pairs of grinding stones, a grain breaker, an oat breaker, and a functioning bucket mill. The mill was stopped in 1968. Due to the relatively small flow of the Passemaregracht, the miller had to hold back the water long enough until there was enough water to keep the mill running for several hours. In 1981, the mill and its surroundings were protected as a monument and as a village landscape. Owner Willy Van Laethem had a functional restoration carried out. Located along the Watercress canals walking route.
