Fairly massive church building with the entrance stairs and the tower on the building line of the street. Spacious pseudo-basilical brick building in neoclassical style with neo-Romanesque façade. Architects: Frans Stoop (original form) and August Van Assche (extension and tower - 1890). The shape of the tower earned the Steendorpenaars the nickname the mustard pots.
Peculiarities: well-lit interior, pulpit (late Baroque with sculpture by Petrus Cornelius De Preter), confessionals (neoclassical), main altar and choir stalls (Mathias Zens). The organ (Delehaye) dates from 1835 and is protected by Royal Decree of 7/2/1980.
