The linden drive in front of the Abbey of Tongerlo is about 340 years old. The trees are still alive and kicking, but because of their large crowns on hollow trunks, an occasional stilt branch or even an entire tree tears open. Some trees that were at great risk of tearing open or falling over have already been taken care of for the first time.
