Description

Loterbol is a mocking name that the Diestenaars received from their competitors the Malinois. A loter sphere is a sphere that is not fixed. Brewery Loterbol, formerly known as "De Brouwketel" and "Brouwerij Duysters", consists of a home brewery and a separate brewery.
From 1860 people started brewing dark beers in Diest, better known as Diesters.
Brewery Duysters was known for its Royale, a dark black type of guild beer and its brown table beers.
