Station Kessel is an unstaffed railway station (or stop) along railway line 15 in Kessel, a district of Nijlen. In Kessel, only stop trains and peak hour trains stop during the week. During the weekend, the IR train from Antwerp to Turnhout also stops here as there is no L train then.
The platforms are positioned in a bayonet layout in relation to the level crossing on Emblemsesteenweg/Stationssteenweg.
The station building was of the type 1893 R4 and was built in 1896.
The station has a spacious bicycle storage facility.
