Description

EN : The mountain ash is a small tree with pinnately compound leaves. Thrushes and blackbirds in particular love the ripe coral red fruits. For humans, the fruits, packed with vitamin C, must be overripe to eat them or use them for con¬tuur or mush. Most of the time, our winged friends have been ahead of us.

FR : Le sorbier des oiseleurs est un petit arbre aux feuilles composées pennées. Ses fruits d'un beau rouge corail sont particulièrement appréciés par les merles et les grives. Ils sont bourrés de vitamin C, mais pour qu'ils soient comestibles pour l'homme, il faut qu'ils soient plus que mûrs. On peut alors en faire des confitures ou de la compote. Mais généralement, ce sont les oiseaux qui nous devancent !
