Located against a small hill at the edge of the Halve Maan Forest, behind the house at Wettersesteenweg 19. The bunker is situated 375 meters northeast of bunker Av10 and 275 meters southwest of bunker Av12.
The bunker was camouflaged as a forest hut. To this end, a low brick wall was built around the bunker, which served as a foundation for a wooden structure against which boards were attached. The brick wall was additionally cemented. A roof covered with blue tiles was placed on the bunker. Due to this camouflage, the bunker is referred to in several reports of the fighting as the 'sheepfold bunker.'
This is one of the most fought-over bunkers in the line. This bunker changed hands multiple times during the three days of fighting in May 1940. At the order of the German occupier, iron parts were removed in 1941 and bunker openings were bricked up in 1944. This was also the case with this bunker.
