The De Nayer Institute in Sint-Katelijne-Waver, Belgium, is a training institute for technology and science. Since September 2012, the professional programs have been part of Thomas More University College. Since October 2013, the academic programs have been part of KU Leuven.
The De Nayer Institute began its educational activities in September 1922 at the initiative of Cardinal Mercier and Professor De Fays. Jan-Pieter De Nayer was appointed as the first director of this first Flemish Higher Technical School.
