House Guiette was named by builder-resident Guiette Les Peupliers. The purist building, along with a house in Weissenhofsiedlung in Stuttgart, is the only realization of the Maison Citrohan, one of the early theoretical housing models of Le Corbusier. This is partly inspired by traditional medieval Flemish architecture. It is also the only existing work of Le Corbusier in Belgium.
