The church is dedicated to Saint Mauritius and his companions, the Theban Legion. Construction of the tower began shortly after 1200. The actual neo-Gothic church building dates from 1896-1897 and was designed by architect J. Carette. The old tower portal has been protected since 1939. The church contains several 18th-century paintings.
