The country house

The country house – renovated in country style – is part of an old farmhouse from the beginning of the last century. The house is surrounded by fields in front and on the side.

The large garden offers a view of a nature reserve containing a 17th century water mill, the Vanderlindens mill. In the middle of our garden is a beautiful walnut tree that bears witness to times gone by.

The rooms

On the attic floor there are two rooms for two to four people.

The rooms are equipped with a double bed and a seating area. There is a double sleeping sofa as a cozy sofa in front of the TV. It can even add a cot. Each room has a brand new bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

Breakfast

Every morning an extensive, tasty and healthy (as much as possible organic) breakfast is waiting for you!

The watermills

The watermills are our oldest and most remarkable testimonies of artisanal and industrial archaeology. Zwalm can rightly show off seven watermills, four of which are on the Zwalm. You will be fascinated by the falling, swirling water, by the endless murmur and movement, by the mystery of an intricate pumping station. Behind our garden is the Vanderlindensmolen on the Peerdestokbeek, hidden between the undergrowth. It once served as a washing mill and bleaching plant.
