The country house

The house, renovated in the authentic style of the region, is part of an old farm dating back to the early last century. It is completely surrounded by fields.

At the back, the large garden overlooks an old watermill from the 17th century and a prestigious walnut tree, two remarkable witnesses to the past of our garden.

The rooms

On the second floor, there are 2 rooms for 2 to 4 people, equipped with a double bed and a sofa bed for two, which, when folded, offers a living space with a television.
It is possible to add a child's bed.
Each room is equipped with an ultra-modern private bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet.

Breakfast

Every morning, a healthy breakfast, deliciously made up of products from organic farming, will be served in a welcoming and family-friendly environment.

The watermills

The watermills are the oldest and most remarkable witnesses of our industrial and artisanal history. The municipality of Zwalm prides itself on having 7 of them, including 4 on the stream itself.

Waterfalls and whirlpools combined with the perpetual murmur give the site mystery and fascination.
The van der Linden mill, on the Peerdestock stream, still turns imperturbably behind the bushes of our garden, having served as a washhouse and laundry.
