"Natal" means "birth". The artwork consists of a figure with two heads. A third head protrudes from the hip. The 5-meter high sculpture has been displayed on the Waalvest since 2004. The location is symbolically situated between the cultural center and the city museum. Tahon was born in 1965 in Menen and first attended the local academy here. He then pursued a sculpting education at the Royal Academy in Ghent. Meanwhile, he enjoys international recognition.
