Description

The former Arbed factory had many successful products that were sold at home and abroad. Here, welded mats of steel wire were made to measure. These were used in the construction industry. Many social housing units in the Netherlands have been built with the welded mats from here. Reinforced nets made here were also used in the Liefkenshoek tunnel. These ready-made nets made it possible to build much faster, rather than braiding the steel bars on site.
