The Hollebeek flows from the Klaverblad castle grounds to the Schoonselhof and further towards the Scheldt. The stream forms an ecological connection between the open fields around the castle and the moats in the Schoonselhof. At the level of the avenue and the houses of the Praaglaan, it is barely perceptible due to indentations and the layout of gardens. The stream forms the front boundary of the front gardens and looks more like a canal here. The Hollebeek not only has ecological value, but is also important for the water management of the southwest of Antwerp.
