This is the largest natural play area in Antwerp. Between Krijgslaan, Doornstraat, and Planetariumlaan lies an extensive open space with walking paths, an orchard, and picnic spots. Children can fully explore play nature here: hills, tree trunks, and play ditches invite adventurous play. At the entrance of Kleine Doornstraat, you can learn more about the local nature and get tips on how to live in an environmentally friendly way at home. If you're lucky, you might spot the crested newt: a rare amphibian about 20 cm long that has its natural habitat here. A mini-dragon in the wild!
