Chapel in Boembeke, recently given name by the last owner vzw Natuurpunt during the restoration works of the chapel (2008-2009). Original dedication or patron saint not known. Road chapel located in the Zwalm valley on the edge of an old standard orchard next to large former farm. Founded near the Boembekemolen or watermill in Boembeke at the confluence of the Boembeek and Zwalm, also border area with the municipalities of Brakel (Michelbeke) and Zwalm (Rozebeke). Chapel from the beginning of the 20th century, according to the land registry archive built before 1933, then owned by the Van den Meerschaut family owners of the adjacent farm. According to oral source, when the joinery of the chapel door inside the chapel was repaired, an inscription of the joiner was found with the year 1908. According to oral tradition (local residents), the chapel was founded by mayor Van den Meerschaut next to his farm as a thank you for the healing of his wife. The chapel was restored in 2008-2009 to a design by architect Gratienne Van de Velde (Sint-Maria-Oudenhove) and rededicated on 28 June 2009.
