In 1990, a 36-hectare island was created between two arms of the Lys when a bend was straightened. It will be designed as a landscape park, with walking paths, a boardwalk through a swamp, seating areas, sloping surfaces and stairs. The ideal place to walk, jog or just have a beer on the terrace of the cafeteria. You can spend the night in one of the two hikers' cabins or on the camping car site.
