Ex-butcher Omer Gardin opened his Butchers Museum in September 2010 at Gijzelbrechtegemstraat 29. You can see how butchers worked from 1900 to 1990. Perhaps the most curious of the entire collection is a tiny meat grinder from the late 1890s. Open by appointment but also every first Wednesday of the month in the afternoon.
