In 1654, Queen Christina of Sweden was a guest in Antwerp in the opulent city palace of the Portuguese Jewish banker García de Yllán on Lange Nieuwstraat, current house number 94. In the 18th century it was merged with an adjacent patrician house and converted into Hotel Du Bois. The building is now a protected monument and is used as the 'School Building of the Ladies of Christian Education'.
