This Gothic chapel is protected as a monument and as a landscape along with its surroundings. Its oldest parts date back to 1483. The Kolveren served as a shelter for the Virgin Mary statue during the iconoclasm (1567). However, it was never found and was replaced by a statue from Mechelen. In 1974, this 16th-century statue was stolen and the chapel received its third statue of Mary, created by the Austrian sculptor Karl Wasle.
