Caves of the porte Aïve
at Hotton
The large entrance has been extended with a unique gallery of 30 m and is of great archaeological interest. The cave was used by man from neolithic times. At the entrance terrace one finds a common tomb of necropolistic style. In the cave, the presence of an older deposit (Paleolithic site) is possible. Geologically, this cave opens perpendicular to the rocky layers that are vertical.
