Description

Orientated Gothic and neo-Gothic church dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, rising to the 15th or 16th century, extended in the 17th century with a higher nave, enlarged in 1927-1928 to a design by F. Vandendael (Leuven) in collaboration with R. Lemaire with side aisles and a portal and in 1932 with beautiful stained glass windows by E. Yoors. Surrounded by plantations and lawns - formerly the cemetery - in which a Lourdes grotto of cobblestones were erected in 1988 and a modern, copper statue of the Sacred Heart in 1993.
