Ask an Antwerp resident to introduce his city and he will probably respond: 't Scheld, the Zoo, fashion, Our Lady's Tower, diamonds and ... a Bolleke De Koninck.
As the only remaining brewery, De Koninck is strongly connected to the city. Brewery De Koninck was founded in 1833 on the border between Antwerp and Berchem. Since August 2010, the brewery has been part of the group of breweries around Duvel Moortgat. Knowledge, expertise, and passion for brewing beer from two Belgian family breweries have been combined.
De Koninck is still brewed according to the original recipe, with the best ingredients and under ideal conditions, right in the center of Antwerp.
