In 2002, drilling was conducted in the cran and bone fragments of dinosaurs were found at a depth of 300 meters. We now know that the Wealden clay where the iguanodons were found is located between 240 and 359 meters deep. However, in 1878, only the area between 322 and 356 meters was explored. This location may still be full of fossils that we have not excavated.
