Historic farm 't Riddergoed

Description:

Historic farmhouse no longer exploited, so-called "'t Riddergoed" (name in 1944) see indication in the roof field of the stable. Of the very spacious ramparts fed by the Meusbroekbeek, indicated on the Ferraris map (1770-1778) and the P.C. Popp map (circa 1850), only the north side, bordered with pollard willows, has been preserved. Yard access to the east, accessible via country road with 19th-century cross with painted wooden statue of Christ and metal canopy on the left. Low detached components of brick under tiled gable roofs, arranged in a U-shape around a yard with lawns.
To the north, double cross barn, possibly from the 18th century. Long façades with cellar gates and basket-arched gates. Side walls originally finished with buttresses and braiding; Left side façade partly renewed. Furthermore, partly rebuilt and partly renovated buildings from the 19th century; Covered manure heap, now transformed into a carport, behind the shed.
