Dead end side street of the Brugsesteenweg. So-called because of the proximity of the Doornmolen, located on the territory of Ingelmunster. Eastern end connected to the Gentsestraat via a country road / farm driveway. This corner of Lendelede is called "hameau Den Branbielck" on the Ferraris map (1770-1778). On the Atlas der Buurtwegen (1847) mentioned as the "Hoogendoornweg" and described as "sentier de Lendelede au cabaret de Hoogendoorn". Not to be confused with a more northerly country road on the border with Ingelmunster which is referred to on the Atlas as "Doornmolenweg" and leads from the Brugsesteenweg directly to the Doornmolen.
Renewed single-storey buildings. House No. 1 already indicated on the Atlas of Local Roads (1847).
