The Trembling Hazel is a resting point in the green heart of the Meetjesland. Like many cyclists, walkers, joggers, mountain bikers and skaters, we also come here from time to time. Here, nature, recreation and heritage are united. At the crossroads there is a lime tree on the spot where, according to legend, the Count of Cleves was mistakenly killed. This resting point offers a view of the Lembeek Forest Belt to the north and the vast fields of Sleidinge and Waarschoot to the south.
