Park of the castle of Bets

The feudal Court of Elsmeren was demolished in 1667 and replaced by the current castle complex; renovation works in the 1880s were accompanied by the establishment of an initial landscaped park (1 hectare 73 ares), while the restoration and beautification works from 1923 to 1927 involved the development of neo-traditional, regularly symmetrical structures (parterre garden in the courtyard of the lower courtyard, terrace, water garden) and the landscaping enhancement (colorful solitary plants and groups of trees) of the larger environment.
