Valley of the Maarkebeek downstream Maarke

This area is situated around the valley of the Maarkebeek, on the territory of the villages of Etikhove, Edelare, Leupegem and Maarke-Kerkem. To the south of the anchorage, the Maarkebeek meanders. The stream is often accompanied by vegetation accompanying the stream. To the north is a steep slope with embankments, which is largely covered by grassland. At the top of the hill is the coulter, an open farmland area. Hollow roads occur on the slope and hilltop. The 'Nameless Tree' is also part of it.
