Farm

Former farm, as the only building in the street beautifully situated in the curve of the Oostergemstraat, on the border with Lovendegem. To the north, a farmer's house, presumably from the 18th century, recently (1983) provided with a new façade, retaining side dormers finished with wall weaving. In the left side wall, also traces of an earlier side wall with wall weaving. Originally a door set in a protruding brick frame on piers with flanking pilasters and a corniced crown. On the left, an extension of two bays with originally an arched door and rectangular window with small pane division. Left side gable with eaves and wall weaving. Interior. Beautiful living room with a main beam and three doors next to the fireplace set in a frame of gray bricks. In the hallway, also with a brick-framed door on piers and with a cornice. To the west, a cross barn under a projecting gable roof (tiles) with two rectangular entrance gates; from the 19th century. To the southwest, adjacent to the street, a 19th-century stable and carriage house of three bays under a gable roof (tiles, ridge parallel to the street).
