Farm, former service building of the vanished "Hof van Plaisance" or the Castle of Lauwerijn. The castle, presumably dating from the early 16th century, located in a double moat, was situated to the southeast behind the church and was accessible via a driveway to the south of the church at the Stee. The castle of the lords of Watervliet, Lauwerijn, was demolished in 1828 and the stables, presumably from the late 18th century, were converted into a farm. The ramparts remained preserved on two sides.
