Located at the corner of Spoorwegstraat. Corner house with villa allure, built in 1923 according to land registry archives as a factory director's residence by Alexis Roos; initially situated next to his small factory of wool and cotton waste fabric on Spoorwegstraat (behind number 20, now disappeared). It replaces a smaller house dating from around 1895 on Spoorwegstraat, which was transformed into an office in 1908 and in 1914 along with the accompanying factory of De Jaeghere (founded in the early 20th century) came into the possession of the Roos company (according to land registry data). Taken over by the Mantafabriek in 1930. Double house of one storey and three bays under a pseudo-mansard roof. Enlarged at the rear. White cemented façades with faux joints and the use of hard stone. Attic floor with a slender corner turret: corner wooden lantern on a profiled corbel and a slender spire. Striking door portico made of wood and artificial stone. Original woodwork with small pane divisions as well as other details of the finish with art deco influences are defining for the distinctive appearance of the building.
